Dosage and Administration

Taking Levitra Professional approximately 10 to 15 minutes before sexual intercourse will relieve your mind of stress and anxiety, and thus improve the ability to achieve the most pleasurable orgasm and climax through improved nerve conduction.

Precautions

Levitra Professional may cause dizziness, drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or blurred vision. Alcohol, physical exertion, hot weather, or fever can accentuate these effects. To prevent these reactions, you should remain seated or stand up slowly, especially in the morning. You should sit or lie down at the first signs of any of these effects.

Avoid using other medications or erectile dysfunction treatments during the course of treatment with Levitra Professional. This medication does not prevent pregnancy. If your partner can become pregnant and you wish to avoid pregnancy, be sure to use an effective form of contraception. Elderly people may be more sensitive to this medication. Taking Levitra Professional is not recommended for women. Contact your doctor if you are pregnant, or planning a future pregnancy.

Contraindications

• Avoid using Levitra Professional if you are allergic to any of its components, if your doctor has advised you to refrain from any sexual activity due to heart problems, if you have heart problems (e.g., unstable angina, severe heart failure), low blood pressure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure, if you have certain hereditary degenerative eye problems (e.g., retinitis pigmentosa), if you have severe liver problems or severe kidney problems requiring dialysis;
• if you have a history of heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening irregular heartbeat within the last 6 months, if you are taking nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin) in any form (e.g., tablet, capsule, lozenge, ointment), nitroprusside, or certain antiarrhythmic drugs (e.g., quinidine, amiodarone);
• if you use certain recreational drugs called "poppers" (e.g., amyl nitrite, butyl nitrite).

Possible Side Effects

The most common side effects include dizziness, heartburn, flushing, headache, stomach upset, stuffy or runny nose. Serious side effects include significant allergic reactions, such as itching, rash, hives, swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, severe or persistent dizziness, chest pain, back or muscle pain, loss of consciousness; a prolonged and painful erection, ringing in the ears, severe or persistent vision changes, sudden hearing loss.

Drug Interactions

Consult your doctor for all prescribed and non-prescribed medications and herbal products you may be taking.

Missed Dose

If you have missed a dose of Levitra Professional, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose in one go.

Overdose

If you think you have taken an overdose of Levitra, you should seek medical attention. Possible overdose symptoms include muscle pain, back pain, vision problems. If a prolonged and painful erection occurs, contact your doctor immediately, as this condition can cause irreversible damage to the penis if not treated adequately.

Storage

Store Levitra Professional at room temperature, between 68 and 77 F (20 and 25 oC). Keep away from heat, moisture, and light. Keep Levitra Professional out of reach of children and pets.
